What a year it has been! 2016 has certainly been eventful, and 2017 brings the excitement of having absolutely no idea what will happen. Fingers crossed it’ll have a few less horrific surprises than the last 12 months though!
This time last year, I had no job after travelling and was desperately looking to get out of childcare. An incredible job arose at a magazine where I was given the opportunity to go from accounts, to writing and then co-ordinating a magazine.
Fast forward 11 months, I’ve loved my time at this job but have been presented with a new opportunity, and something I’m very excited to get started with.
Working in London, I’ll be producing written content and controlling the social media feeds for a company which specialises in perimeter advertising boards at football stadiums throughout the world.
There are three things I love; football, writing and social media. So this literally could not be a more perfect job.
It’s the time for New Years resolutions, and like most people, I’ll be spending most of the 31st so drunk I can’t pronounce ‘2017’, before vowing to be more healthy.
I’ve been lucky enough to spend the past year with people who mean the world to me. I have a great family, friends and boyfriend who I can’t imagine anything without and also plan to show them how great they are over 2017.
So that’s all from me,
Wishing everyone a brilliant New Year’s Eve and a very happy New Year!
