West Ham United are through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup. This is not a drill.
How it happened
In an incredibly nerve-wracking night of football, West Ham kept the current holders of the Carabao Cup, Man City, from scoring, ending 0-0 at 90 minutes. Tensions were high as the game went to penalties, but goals from Noble, Bowen, Dawson, Cresswell and Benrahma put the game to bed after Foden missed his first penalty.
That’s right, despite all odds, we have knocked Manchester United out of the cup and then booted Man City out too, ending their run of winning four seasons in a row.
